Tutu's elastic
#1
Making tutu's is cheap and they look great with lots of clothing such as onsie's and of course hand knitted jumpers with oversize booties

2 meters of light pink bridal tulle $5.50 a meter
2 meters of black bridal tulle $5.50 meter

This amount of tulle make about 6-7 tutu's

Bridal tulle is the softest of the tulles but you can use any tulle you like
elastic

Tulle

elastic (any kind) I use underwear elastic

Measure the waist of the doll and cut the elastic to fit adding enough extra to stitch the ribbon ends together or to tie them in a knot

Tie a strip of tulle around the elastic twice so it wont come undone

slip elastic over your leg as it makes it easy to add the tulle

keep adding tulle until you have the desired thickness

That is very nice... I think I might try to make it. I have never seen that type of elastic. I thought it was a piece of lace. You could use it as a headband also. Great job.

Very pretty Andama that's how I made my granddaughters little tutu. But I used ribbon instead of elastic so you can tie a big bow on the backSmile
Loving the black and white, right up my alleyBig Grin
