It seems that nothing new has been invented for reborning and even the chatter on air dry paints seems to have dried up.

Anyone got any news about whats hot, whats not and whats selling

I joined a new group on facebook about scammers and man that place is interesting as ebay seems to be a major issue with almost every one. here is the link if anyone wants to have a look

Why is everyone doing pink on their kits now, saw a picture and the lady said it was the first coat, and it was full of pink and the head was covered in what looked like naughts and crossed in the blue, I have seen her dolls in the real, so to speak and saw none of this, is it a new trend ?x

I have not seen that one and to tell the truth it sounds a bit scary . I have noticed that some artists are getting a bit carried away with the sponge and blotching as some of the babies look like they are diseased.

I have also noticed that rooted hair is not looking as good as it used to either with it often being way too thin. I think painted hair is more popular because it is faster and I do know that MANY people hate rooting the heads

I would argue the toss on painted hair being faster... but agree I hate rooting hair!

I can paint a head far quicker than I can ever root, I paint hair for the majority of my dolls that I sell as I sell them so much cheaper.

Actually Maxina I can totally understand painted hair for both speed and price as I think they should be cheaper when the head is bald or not rooted

I have read about these scammers, so scary, you have to be so careful who you buy from now. I bought a silicone baby of The Doll connection, so that was safe, and then bought one of a lady through facebook, but looked like she had sold a few with no problems, and I got my baby no problem. Have heard a few don't get their baby, and silicones are so expensive, same with reborns, just got to do some research on the seller before you buy.
I have joined the scammers page on Face book thanks Andama!

I agree the scammers page is interesting at time. You have to be so careful nowadays it seems a lot of people selling their babies are having a problem getting paid. I only sell at doll shows, that way you are guaranteed your money.
