I buy my mohair from three places in Australia and these are the places and reasons

CITY OF REBORN ANGELS

he mohair is a beautiful quality and looks good when done, it is fine and very soft and has the slightest wave which is stunning on the reborns

COLLECTIBLE KIDS

I buy my black curly mohair from collectible kids as it is amazing on AA reborns. It looks like it is really thick when you root it as it seems to be really frizzy but once you wet it it gets the best curl in it and it can be left long in ringlets or cut short. This is the only place I have found this AA curly mohair. The down side is there is a lot of dye so it needs to be rinsed until the water runs clear otherwise it will stain the vinyl on the dolls

VYNETTES BASSINITTE

I buy Ruby red mohair from Vynettes Bassinnets as it is great for rooting older babies and I also use it on the young bubs and when the hair is rooted I use thinning scissors if I think it is to thick.
I love the blondes as they have the real baby blonde.
This mohair is a great price especially for those starting out as it is easy to root and it seems to go a long way.

I use Susan Nagel's mohair. It is soft, fine and beautiful. And Susan is a great seller, wonderful to deal with. Here is her email: rrnagel@earthlink.net. You can email her and ask the type and color you want. Smile

Susan lives in the USA.

I use ruby red if I want straight hair, otherwise City of Reborn Angels (Susan Nagels mohair) but I've just received 3 lots of beautiful mohair from Angora Mohtique. I haven't used it yet but it looks even lovelier than Susan Nagels.

Oops didn't read the post properly. Angora Mohtique is not in Australia, but I don't mind waiting for it to be posted from USA

An update on Angora Mohtique. I have half a head rooted and I can confirm it is my favourite. I haven't tried Slumberland or Delta Dawn yet though.

My favourite so far has been delta dawn but I have found a new one called pixie kissed and it is beautiful and a really good price, but I have to be honest she is a bot slow in posting it out, saying that I will be ordering some more. It is so fine a brill for newborns. here is the link girls:

I had a look at the Pixie-kissed site but there were no photographs of the actual mohair on offer. Hopefully they will update the site as at the moment it looks so incomplete that I am not sure if the ordering system would even work.

The baby on the front page had gorgeously rooted hair if that is an indeed rooted in the Pixie-kissed mohair.

I am using Deltda Dawn mohair right now, and have to say it is A-MA-ZING! Love it! Fine, silk, wonderful colors. But... very very expensive.

I have ordered straight Slumberland mohair, though. I need a really straight mohair and decided to give it a go. Now waiting for my order to arrive. Smile
