Making blood
#1
I know many of you who make premmie babies like to take realistic looking photos and like to use props and I was asked how you make blood that will not hurt the paint work on the doll (reborn) so I thought I would share the HOW TO with you and if you decide to take some just born photos then remember to post them.

Non Staining blood

Egg whites
Red food colouring a drop or two only
water based Lubricant or corn syrup

you can use hand sanitiser or hair gel instead of lubricant

1. mix egg white, water based lubricant and a drop of food colouring together and this is your fake blood with mucus lol

If you want darker blood add some chocolate syrup this tones down the bright red.
To get the white mucus look on a baby beat egg whites and spoon over parts of baby you wish to have the mucus look

Take your photos then wash the blood mixture off.

The egg white is what stops the food colouring marking your doll

any questions please ask

cheers
NON water based lubricant damages vinyl same as it damages condoms so make sure you do not this on your dolls

Many of the dolls I make for movies are born on the show so I learned what they use as blood because they have to let me know what they are using on the dolls.
Blood is a bit like umbilical cords some people do and some people dont lol
