Hair Removal
#1
We all at some time while making these reborn dolls will decide that we hate the hair we have rooted on a doll, be it the colour , maybe it is damaged or whatever. I personally know how awful it is to remove the hair and I was lucky enough to have a member here on banter tell me they use hair removal cream to get rid of the hair and I have to say what life saver that was.

It leaves the head clean of hair, undamaged and ready to root again..

Great tip and great to share it.

1.Cut hair as short as you can
2. cover remaining hair in hair removal cream
3. scape cream off after about 10 minutes
4 wash head in soapy water
and the head is ready to root again

Can the head be rooted ok after that, as there will still be glue on the inside of the head?
But that is a great tipSmile

I soak the head in water and the glue will lift (fill the head with water)

I have always used Veet to take of the hair, tried several but this one
is by far the best, I also coat the inside of the head which I feel helps
to soften the glue.

I recently rooted a baby and the hair was just soo frizzy, although I had not completed the rooting, I decided to stop and I cut the hair and used the Veet but there is one spot that is still got a few hairs, I think I can remove with tweezers but what about the wholes that was previously created from the rooting? Thanks in advance for any advice!
