Cable ties
I don't know about everyone else, but I used to have trouble when threading the cut piece of cable tie back into the hem or casing when attaching the limbs. A lot of frustration!!! So I found a way that makes it so much smoother. By inserting the cut off (and throw away) bit, back into the hole where I want the end of the cable tie to be hidden and then (with small pliers) slip the end in under it and it goes in much easier without getting caught on the material and giving me a major headache. Pic might help explain.
You might all be doing this but if not, hope it's helpful. Or you may have an easier way.....

I was just snipping as close to the "lock" bit as possible. This is much neater... Thanks for sharing
