Body Question - Lots to Cudde?
#1
Question
Hi all.

I'm wanting to give my lots to cuddle (Berenguer) doll a bigger body and some other things.

I have concerns about taking her apart. When I look at the cloth around her hands and feet (she has 1/4 limbs), it looks like it's sewn on instead of cable ties. Is that how it looks or are some doll limbs done that way?

My big fear right now is that I were to remove her old body and not being able to attach a new one.

Has anyone here ever reborned a Lots to Cuddle? Anyone ever come across a doll they couldn't "re-body"?

Thanks in advance.

Some limbs on some dolls actually get glued on which is a little odd and yes some even get sewed on. You need to make sure the head can be attached to a soft body as some heads are made to only go on solid bodies. Some of the dolls with 1/4 limbs so get sewn in and can be resewn but its a lot of work

Thanks for your answer, Andama. I guess I will just leave her as she is for now. (She is really cute) She does have a cable tie neck, but I am just not sure about her hands and feet. I am no seamstress, so I won't risk taking her apart and putting her back together.

Thanks again,
Jourdi

As she has a cable tie neck, why not purchase a new set of limbs for her size together with a new body and then just add the neck part, that should work.
