where do YOU shop
Greetings one and all,
Dianna and I were talking about where people shop for reborn related items, from the kits to the paints, clothes, shoes etc and have decided we should ask people to list some sites they go to or places they shop. It is always interesting to have a look at some places outside our usual square of shopping. If you run a home base business then send us your addy and we will have a look and then possibly list the site so others may also share the information.
There are a lot of people out there interested in reborn dolls as well as dolls but what we find even more interesting is all the other creative crafts that our members seem to be able to do and we would love to share some of those crafts with you and even learn about them.
I have been hoping that Gale would list the bed she made for her reborn dolls as she discussed her husbands thoughts on her making and selling them, so come on girl show us your stuff.
I happen to know that Dianna is the most wonderful knitter of babies clothes as well as other crafts, making it time to nag her about what else she does lol.

RE: where do YOU shop
Hi,
I found a great website for reborn doll kits and supplies. It's called dollsbysandie, and it's in the US. I live in Canada, but I buy from her because she has a nice selection, the shipping is resonalbe, and she's very nice. Sandie also has her own one of a kind Berenger kit, named after her. I just ordered it, so I'll let you know.
I also shop at MacPherson's, a craft store in Canada that sells Secrist supplies, and at Bloomers and Bows on ebay.

Thanks for the places to shop Kat, I will look up their addy and add them to the places to shop on the Baby Maker web site. You always sound so excited when you order a doll which is great, and do let let us know what kits you buy and what you think of them.
Cheers

I shop mostly at Lynsrebornworld. And sometimes I will slip over to Collectible Kids. Both are Aussie sites, and both have pretty reasonable shipping rates. I find Lyns site has better quality, but Collectible kids has better value. So it depends on what I'm after. But both sites are pretty helpful if you have any questions.

Thanks Kat and Ney Ney for the places you shop.
I have time now to look them up, get their addy and list them at the Baby Maker site.
Fantastic to get these places as its better if we know they have been tested so to speak lol.
Cheers

RE: where do YOU shop
I also shop at collectable Kids and Lyn's Reborn World. However, I also use Vynettes Bassinettehttp://www.vynettesbassinette.com/ and also Still Moments Nursery http://www.stillmomentsnursery.com/
Personally I favour still moments for kits and paints, vynettes for some of their clothes, and tutorial stuff, and I use Collectable and Lyn's for any other bits and pieces I want.

Reborns are the best of children...they don't eat, they don't sick and they don't mess... they don't love either but 3 out of 4 ain't bad

Hi Angela,
Thanks for that and I shall have a look at still moments for dolls and see what their prices are.
Welcome to baby Banter, new members are always nice to have and we look forward to hearing what you have to say on the art of reborning.
Cheers

I have only recently got my first reborn. I shopped around everywhere and I found collectable kids was really good and reasonably priced.
