For our newbies, banter has a fail safe security system in place which does not allow newbies to add any links to their sigs until they have 30 post or more. This is to stop people joining just to use the site for advertising and of course to stop advertising companies. The fail safe also removes any links added to a post by new members but of course it changes automatically after 30 or more posts.

I just wanted to let our new members know why their links are disappearing and that we are not picking on you as it happens to everyone lol
