RE: Hair rooted or painted
I love painted hair "if" it is beautifully done and looks 'real'!! Unfortunately you don't see that all that often. Most people don't seem to enjoy rooting that much and don't want to invest the time or money in the process. Reborns seem to be selling for such a small amount of money these days that I understand NOT wanting to spend the time it takes to root a head of hair for the return they are getting on the sale. And I certainly understand NOT wanting to sell a doll for a couple hundred bucks that you have spent 40 hrs rooting!! So rooting is getting to be a thing of the past it seems. There are a few exceptions I have seen regarding "bald" babies but I tend to think they look unfinished as well. There are so many newer reborners out there and I think they just want to make a quick baby and sell it to get money. I understand that we all start somewhere and we have to learn and improve our skills, but we also need to have "pride" in our workmanship!!
