Painting a dark skinned baby

Mix your flesh 07 with your odourless solvent and apply to your sponge and pounce all over baby evening out the texture so there are no lines or large blotches Heat set.

depending on the depth of colour you want with your baby, apply flesh 05 and flesh 03 in the areas you want deeper colours until you achieve the skin mottling and texture you desire. If you want a very dark baby you will need to apply several coats of flesh 03. Heat set between every coat.

with your ethnic lip and blush colour lightly blush your areas you want blushed.
Remember dark skinned babies are not highly blushed, heat set.

mix a little lip and blush colour into a little flesh 03 and darken your creases and wrinkle areas. Blend so there is not a dark line but a blended shading. Heat set.

using your ethnic brow paint your eyebrow lines.

using the lip and blush colour and odourless solvent, do several coats to the lips till they are the darkness you desire. Heat set between coats

mix your vein colour with odourless solvent to a very light mix and draw your veins on each piece. Heat set

when you are happy with your vanishes and effects, do matte varnish all over your baby. Heat set. When cool put your air dry gloss on lips, nose holes, nails and on the eyelids. DO NOT HEAT SET AFTER THIS COAT.

this is how i painted Mahalia
