Nolen Joel in progress

this is another custom order I am working on she still has a long way to go but thought I'd show you all while I am waiting for her mum to get back to me on her blushing (she doesn't want it too strong but not too light so I am probably overloading her with pics at every layer lol)

Hi OM,

I think the blushing looks good and personally I wouldnt add any more red. If the new mum likes it then thats even better. I think she looks cute.
Do you add a blue or purple at any stage of the painting as that often will tone down the pale look of babies.

Cheers

RE: Nolen Joel in progress

hey Andi
thanks and yep I do add blue and purple and many other colours lol when I do my skin tones after I have a good base flesh I mix in a touch of purple to the next flesh layer then the next layer I add blue or green and then maybe yellow to the next layer depending on the look i am after. i find it gives the skin more depth
