Hi OM,
I think the blushing looks good and personally I wouldnt add any more red. If the new mum likes it then thats even better. I think she looks cute.
Do you add a blue or purple at any stage of the painting as that often will tone down the pale look of babies.

hey Andi
thanks and yep I do add blue and purple and many other colours lol when I do my skin tones after I have a good base flesh I mix in a touch of purple to the next flesh layer then the next layer I add blue or green and then maybe yellow to the next layer depending on the look i am after. i find it gives the skin more depth
