Question  Help with dummy magnets.

Hi people.

I dont reborn BUT i was thinking of buying one thats already been finished.
Its the So Truly Real: Hush little baby (breathing doll) and i was just wondering whether i would be able to somehow take its head off and put a magnet in behind its mouth so i can attach a dummy?

If i can, please explain how..

Thanks.

RE: Help with dummy magnets.

you can also use dummy putty (also known as white tac) instead of a magnet it gives a better fit and is less fiddly to do than placing the magnet in also means you don't have to be careful around computers and electronics

RE: Help with dummy magnets.

okiee dokiee here it goes
you can buy dummy putty off of ebay for like up to tripple the price and what you recive in the mail will be a packet of uhu white tac or you can pick it up from big W or I think k mart might have it ( for anyone out side australia i'd suggest maybe walmart or some place like that) its in the stationary section near all the sticky tape and sticky dots blue tac, glues etc
you cut the teet of the dummy as you do to modify it for a magnet kneed some white tac between your fingers and place it where you would normally place the magnet.
It works quite well and holds the dummy nice and close to the face if any remains on the mouth when you remove the dummy you just gently dab the white tac on it and it will come off.
and like I said its great as you don't have to worry about electronics or anything and opens up to and audiance who may not have been able to buy from you before if you only used magents (people with pace makers etc)
Not so good for open mouthed babies I still use magnets.
