Clev A Garden

Living in small spaces, small families, small budgets, limited water or no green thumb I have found the purrrrrrfect garden.
Dianna and I have been looking at ways to save money and growing vegs is of course a good start, we have both been looking at the aero gardens and Dianna loves this idea however I tend to consider the electricity needed, the bulbs for the lamp and related costs as well as chemicals being used in a hydro garden. A couple of weeks ago I discovered the Clev A Garden (invented by a women) which is solar powered but can also be plugged in, uses orgainic liquid feed and the most important thing is the garden waters itself and I need only to top the tank every couple of weeks and yes it does get better for should I forget to check the tank the thing has a low sounding alarm letting me know it needs filling. It self checks the temps and waters as required .This thing although not overly attractive is portable, can be used inside is pretty close to perfect in my eyes. I have always been able to grow everything and anything other than vegs and no matter what I have tried over the years all has failed. This however is working and I even have tomatoes on my plants. No more over or under watering for me. I am so excited about how clever this garden is I just had to post about it lol. I guess its true what they say about the older the boy the more silly the toy ha ha. Mind you that has ever been said about us women lol.
Comments welcome and if anyne has tried the clev a garden or the aero garden we would love to know.

I will be posting more info about this garden at the baby maker site under Andama's Diary

Cheers

RE: Clev A Garden

Hey OM,

I was thinking Christmas for my cousin as she lives in a flat in Sydney and wants to grow things on her little landing so this would be perfect I thought.
BBC hardware and I have a feeling they will be a popular item from Santa. Fantastic and easy to move around and I am sure your mum would love it.

RE: Clev A Garden

Hey Cindy,

I have tried growing in pots for the last two years and killed everything in the veg department. I grow some wonderful plants in pots and I have lots of them but I seem to kill anything one can eat lol.
Over watering I discovered, then I under watered .The Clev A Garden seems to be working for me, however it is still early days lol.
