Breathing mechanism
Hi ladies,
just wondering if any of you have used the breathing mechanisms before? The lady who bought Caleb just contacted me and asked me if I would mind putting one in for extra charge. She actually has bought him for a movie apparently LOL I have never fitted one before so not sure how they work, if they are easy to put in etc. Am hoping one of you lovely ladies know!

RE: Breathing mechanism
Ohhh a movie! How exciting! Smile

I read somewhere that they were very noisy. It probably makes the baby less cuddly too. I'm curious to know how it works though.

RE: Breathing mechanism
oh wow Kylie thats is very exciting! congrats!! is he staying in aus or traveling overseas?
well i haven't put in a breathmechanisim yet but its on my "want to do list" so I have done alittle research and here are some links i have found that might be helpful

for the breath mechanisims at beeanns here is a tutorial i found about that http://philsooakbabies.co.uk/photo_album4.html or maybe if you email bev she might beable to help you out with more info

or the other style of breath mechanisim looks a bit easier to me but the only one i found is in the states so i don't know if it would take too long to get her for when you need him sent out .... the machine is i think about the 5th item down

http://www.berenguer-dolls.com/Grammaz-N...0003&xm=on this is a link to the body that goes with it place poly fill and glass beads in the bum area then poly fill inside a stocking then the machine then another stocking with pollyfill on top (might have to experiment with it alittle)

hope thats of alittle help

RE: Breathing mechanism
Hi ladies, thanks for that gayle! Very helpful. I also read that they are noisy Caroline I wouldn't personally want one in my reborns but he is very insistant he does lol

I just got another email from him wanting another baby the same as caleb with eyes closed 0.0 for the same price! He want's the other baby to look like a brand new bub. I am not sure what his movie is about but he asked for my number so he can call and discuss it with me further. The only other kit that i can think of really that's similar to the Michelle kit is Noe, and that is only because they are by the same sculpter. I told him I would have a look at some pics and send him some for ideas.. so any you ladies think would be wonderful! All very nerve wracking lol

RE: Breathing mechanism
well you could always get another michelle (but she is on back order everywhere) and sculpt the eyes closed, noe is another good option is it suposed to look exactly the same?

RE: Breathing mechanism
not 100% sure if he meant it to look exactly the same but with closed eyes or the same colouring.

""I am interested, so please order and put the breathing
machine as soon as you can. Can you get me a timeline
when I will get it. We need it urgent. Just use the name
Anthony. If you have to put mothers name on the certificate,
just use Susan backley. Also, I was looking for another baby
that will look like a few days old with eyes closed and also
breathing with machine. Is it possible to get something exactly
the same, in order to show baby at different ages. Can you
provide me your number so I can call and discuss it further.""

Thats what he wrote.

RE: Breathing mechanism
That all sounds so exciting Kylie dont feel nervous your babies are gorgeous and im sure you wil do him proud
I have never fitted the breathing mechanisms I sorted out an Ashdon Drake for someone that had one in it made the tummy quite hard I tried putting more fibre fill over it but it didnt have the same effect so took it back out
Good luck with the project cant wait to see the pics when you get going there are soooo many lovely sleepers out there im sure you will have no trouble finding one to suit.
